How I found my passion

I am passionate about a lot of amazing things but what I am really passionate about is encouraging young women to search for their inner greatness. That’s what my blog is mainly the focus for. It’s to empower young strong women to become greater. It’s important to be passionate about something you love because without passion you would not be motivated. A passion is like an energizer waiting to take over the mind and body. If you wake up exploding with an idea and it motivates you to start, that means you’re passionate about something. Don’t let your passion go to waste. Get up and run with it! Even if you’re afraid to take that leap, still try it. The only failure is not taking action.

Passion is energy. Feel the power that comes from focusing on what excites you.  -Oprah Winfrey

A few months ago I was going through a bag filled with old baby pictures of me. That bag also had a best storytelling award I achieved when I was around 8 or 9 years old. I then went way back to when I was in elementary school and thought about all of the other awards I achieved. I achieved a lot of them but the ones that stood out were best storytelling awards. As a child I enjoyed writing and did a lot of it during school hours. I always would be the only student in my class who written the most. When I was in elementary, I always use to look forward to writing. I would get my pencil, notebook, and eraser all ready to begin.

You have to be burning with an idea, or a problem, or a wrong that you want to right. If you’re not passionate enough from the start, you’ll never stick it out. – Steve Jobs

These last few years I got extremely depressed with 2 kids, having to temporarily live on welfare, (that’s another post I have planned for you) and thinking I was a failure to my beautiful boys. Now that I found my passion, I can have something to look forward to for my children. It’s not that I never had passion, its just something that was lost. It was a bit difficult trying to figure out what excites me because I stopped writing at such young age. That’s what made it difficult trying to figure out what I was actually good at. I am so glad I found my passion. Now I can get to work!
